The system calculates the average voteDifficulty across all contributions and assigns each chart to the nearest tier bracket using absolute-distance matching. For example, a chart with an average voteDifficulty of 0.62 falls closest to the Mid-High bracket (0.75), so it is ranked Mid-High. Pump It Up uses 7 tiers from Lowest (-0.25) to Highest (1.25), while maimai uses 11 tiers from Extra Bottom (-0.75) to Extra Top (1.75). Charts with high personal variation are automatically classified as "Unique", and charts with insufficient votes appear as "Undefined".
